Mile Square Capital Group LLC is an investment and advisory company focused on real estate acquisitions, development, asset management and advisory for commercial and residential real estate. The company is led by Kevin Kansagra, its founding principal.
Since its founding in 2013, the Company has established relationships with numerous investors, brokers, lenders, and developers, resulting in several small and large real investments on behalf of the company and its investors.
Kevin Kansagra has 10+ years of experience in various aspects of real estate including valuation/underwriting, capital structure/financing, capital raising, market research, operations, engineering, construction and development. He founded Mile Square Capital Group in 2013 and has built a strong network of brokers, lenders, developers, and investors, which has helped facilitate the Company’s investment and advisory activities.
Prior to Mile Square Capital Group, he worked at M-K Engineering, Inc., a family owned business, for several months providing consulting engineering services on commercial real estate projects while he wound down the family business.
Prior to M-K Engineering, he was a Vice President within the Real Estate Investment Banking group at Eastdil Secured, a wholly owned subsidiary of Wells Fargo. At Eastdil Secured, he worked on over 20 deals, including sell-side M&A, IPOs, joint ventures, and public/private equity and debt capital raises for real estate companies across all sectors including hotels, industrial, office, multifamily, and retail. Selected transaction experience includes the $2.5B sale of MPG Office Trust to Brookfield, $1.0B sale of Verde Realty to Brookfield, $500MM IPO of Eola Capital (Sold to Parkway Properties), $200MM Rights Offering/Spin-off of Rouse Properties.
He holds a MBA from Columbia Business School with a focus on real estate and finance, and a BA from New York University in computer science and economics.
